Freshmen Orientation
All incoming Del Oro freshmen are invited to participate in 9th grade orientation on Friday, August 7, 2026 (8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) in the Del Oro gym. This is a required event that will introduce incoming freshmen to Del Oro. Students will tour the campus, meet some staff, be matched with a Del Oro junior/senior mentor, and begin to learn about what it means to be a Del Oro Sun. Students should dress appropriately and are encouraged to bring a water bottle; there are water bottle filling stations on campus. Students will be able to have their ID picture taken that day.
